Well, the org.opengis.util.ProgressListener interface is not really ready
neither. This interface is not part of the GeoAPI request for change (RFC) to
be
submitted at next OGC meeting, so it will not yet be there in GeoAPI 2.1 or
3.0.
It is just a copy dropped from Geotools but may need revision before we make a
real proposal from it.
