Hi Jon,

Exactly what Capabilities class are you referring to? The one in 
org.geotools.ows.Capabilities?

I guess the answer depends on the model. The EMF model generated for WCS 
does not because if i remember correctly the type in the schema does not 
extend the ows capabilities type.

That said, any model generated with EMF from a schema can be 
instrumented after the fact. Instrumented meaning changing the generated 
interfaces. This could include making the capabilities type extend from 
another interface.
