That was my problem, I kept thinking that there is some way to change the rectangular grid to hexagonal ,Its clear now I even read somewhere you re considering hgrid in the next versions ,
So the GridCoverage from what i understand is I sample it to grid where each grid is a group of pixels who share common Geographical information. Yes, I 'm working with a hexagonal lattice ,I d be very grateful if u send me the code ..........
