You're looking for the GeodeticCalculator
(http://javadoc.geotools.fr/2.3/org/geotools/referencing/GeodeticCalculator.html)
 .

If you give it a starting position and a destination then it will give you the
distance arc distance with #getOrthodromicDistance().

If you give it a starting position, an angle, and a distance then it will give
you the ending position (destination)

Best Regards
-Duane

Subject: [Geotools-gt2-users] One Meter ???converted to Longitude and latitude
and viceversa

hey  :),

Sry for the Newbie question, its my first few months in the GIS world , when
i load a shpfile without setting the CRSsystem its shown CGS_WGS_1984 , if i
add another layer with in it a certain point lets say 30.12 and 29.12 now i
want to create a square a circle wtever whose center is the above point,
with side one meter or radius one meter wht is the value should be add to
the CRS 30.12 + 1meter ?????

in similar behaviour how to get the distance between two point in meteers ??

Thanks in advance!
