Hi, I need (for starters) to draw a web-browser style map in a window using osm maps. On top of this layer i will represent some points and polygons which are fetcheded from a local postgis DB. It looks like wms is out of the question (see http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Openstreetmap-129-206-229-158-wms-connection-refused-tp6496244p6496244.html) so now i have to go with tile servers ( tms), tile.openstreetmap.org to be more exact. My problem is that i can't find a description of how to work with tile servers; when i was trying to connect to a wms server i used the javadocs and the image tutorial but now i just don't know where to start,i can't find any documentation on this;hell i don't even know what module i'm supposed to use; i'm pretty sure it's possible since uDig is working with tms servers. I would very much appreciate the help of the community just about now because i'm in a slump
