These issues is why the "isometric" filter function has never been advertised.
Geometry transformations are working on a geometry per geometry basis,
there is nothing you can do to fix them.

A rendering transformation that can work against the entire building layer
(the visible part actually) can instead result in proper extrusion.
Thought about it but did not have the time to implement it
