Hello Harshad,

Please edit your pom.xml file and change this line:

<geotools.version>8.0-M1</geotools.version>

to this:

<geotools.version>8-SNAPSHOT</geotools.version>

and add the following entry to the repositories section of the pom:

      <repository>
            <snapshots>
                  <enabled>true</enabled>
            </snapshots>
            <id>opengeo</id>
            <name>OpenGeo Maven Repository</name>
            <url>http://repo.opengeo.org</url>
      </repository>

This is not directly related to the errors you are getting (which I
haven't seen reported before) but the Quickstart application and other
tutorials which display maps do not work properly with version 8.0-M1
at the moment. This is because the developer in charge of the gt-swing
module, which provides the GUI components, has been a bit
disorganized.

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
