Hi Valerio, I'm guessing that the problem is in the gt-swing module rather than gt-render or gt-main because, well, they usually are :-)
To check further it would be great if you could provide a *small*, self-contained example (code plus data) which will reproduce the problems that your seeing in your application and then either create a bug report in the GeoTools issue tracker with your example attached (assign it to me) or email your example to me off-list.
