Hello Vicente, As far as I know, JavaFX isn't on the GeoTools radar at the moment.
Given that Swing development seems to have been abandoned by Sun/Oracle in favour of JavaFX it would make sense to look at it at some stage. On the other hand, Swing is still widely used (e.g. Groovy/Griffon, NetBeans) so, as Monty Python would say: "I'm not dead yet". Meanwhile, there has been some effort in the gt-swing module to extract a set of interfaces that might be a common base for GeoTools GUI modules. However, there is more to do on that (e.g. gt-swing and gt-swt are not yet aligned via those interfaces). If by some chance you happen to be, or know, a JavaFX developer with time on your hands then I'm sure a new community module would be greeted with interest.
