Hi Daniele.
To be honest I have tried to get it working so many times that I am not
completely sure about what I really did! But in my previous configuration
(which does not work) the GDAL_DRIVER_PATH environment variable was
pointing to the folder \imageio-ext_1_1\gdalplugin inside the imageio-ext
installation folder.
I think I read this instruction during the installation of the imageio-ext
(with exe installer), in a message after the installation process.
I had downloaded and installed the ERDAS ECW JPEG2000 Read SDK from the
ERDAS web site and, when I changed the GDAL_DRIVER_PATH environment
variable to point to the ERDAS ECW SDK dlls (concretely located in
bin\vc90\win32 inside the installation folder), it worked.
