Dear Michael and others,
I have got rid of the 'LWGEOM_estimated_extent' error by performing
'ANALYSE' after load my shape file into PostGIS. It should be returning a
polygon geometry after executing 'SELECT
ST_AsText(ST_Force_2D(ST_Envelope(ST_Estimated_Extent('tableName',
'the_geom'))))'.
(BTW, there is no need for schema name before the tableName otherwise, the
command is not working)
However, when I display the postgis layer (as a feature layer) and try to
use the 'info' tool, there is an warning said 'unable to query
tablename'....
Any suggestion where the problem might be? (I tested area, points shape
files they all have the same problem).
Thanks very much,
Yang
