The wiki is correct, there is only support up to 1.1.0.
Bindings wise they are there, but often they are asymmetric, they often
work for writing but not for reading, and some amendments are
needed to make them work on the read side.
If you want to build v2.0 into the store I'd suggest to look at the 1.1
code and mimic it to build a 2.0 version (and/or consider looking
into commercial support, there is a number of companies that can help you
build new features into geotools).
