I need to figure what options there are for having the app consume an API service for the data. I've built a proof-of-concept app to pull data from Yahoo's Local Search database table using YQL. This has a limit of 20 results and I believe has other usage limits. The Google Local Search has been recently marked as deprecated and it only returns 8 results anyway from my testing. Both of these only allow searching based on a keyword vs specific category selection. I am looking for a data source that will provide comprehensive results for business categories (i.e. restaurants, etc) and provide info like: Longitude/Latitude Name of business Address Category Price Range Hours of operation Does an API exist out there that allows more than 20 results and is fairly comprehensive that is recommended? Thanks, John _______________________________________________ Geowanking mailing list [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> http://geowanking.org/mailman/listinfo/geowanking_geowanking.org
