Hi Stefan,

In Let's do it World we have recently discussed to port 
https://github.com/letsdoitworld/ apps tp Open311, to have more standard world 
waste mapper (www.letsdoitworld.org/wastemap) . No real experiences yet, 
current state is to rise some funds for development of this later this year.

I like that there is standard API for this. What seems to be missing from there 
is user space, so-called social features. It deals quite well with objects on 
the field (garbage in our case), but not much with about users/people. For 
example we would need rich and extensible user profiles to show user timeline, 
friend timeline and notifications (via FB graph perhaps), statistics (for 
competitions and leaderboards), user groups and meetups, so it would help to 
get together for Let's Do It World style community powered cleanup events. 
Maybe someone can suggest some other open and non-corporate social graph API 
for this?
