Post Where2.1 greetings to allĀ
Anybody out there have experience with postal
code updates for the US? The Census' ZCTAs are
updated every few years; I don't think ZIPs
change all that much, but they aren't static.
Curious about web services/CDs and wondering how
much of this content changes month to month.
we license US ZIP Code data from an outfit called
GreatData. They send us updates several times a
year, but I've never diffed them against what we
already had. They don't come on any particular
schedule, so I'm pretty sure they aren't just
sending us the same old data, even though the
actual number of changes is probably pretty small.
