My idea was a single place to access GIS modules for scripting langauges. Where "single place is" website + search engine + taxonomy of available modules, but those modules are not copied/mirrored but linked, so the engine only needs to "know" where is what. Indeed, it's a very similar concept to the table, but I'm talking more about the CPAN-like form. Just a brainstorm. > Why not just provide a catalogue/link to these tools?
