OK, I'm stumped. Anyone know of a good data layer showing US colleges
and universities? (International would be nice as well, but I'm
primarily interested in domestic schools at this point.)
I can get school district polys from the US Census ( http://
www.census.gov/geo/www/cob/index.html ) and school points from GNIS
( http://geonames.usgs.gov/ ), but both lump in elementary and
secondary schools with the colleges. Unless I'm missing something,
GNIS doesn't give me a field that has a finer grain that "school".
