Cool vid!

These pict'earth guys are working on separating the imaging system
from the platform, so potentially any platform that can generate
enough lift to put the video camera, hi-res camera, radio modem and
GPS in the air is fine by us. The real innovation here is that they
have figured out how to process the images straight from the air into
Google Earth and snap off hi-res images that are processed into GE
immediately when the thing is on the ground.

Something like this looks more useful than a plane or trike based
platform:

The ability to hover enables coverage of areas that would otherwise
be impossible.
