Hi,

sorry to make my first post to the list one that is looking for help.

Anyway, I'd like to buy a gps, but i have some specific requirements. Probably the best way to explain them is to tell the story of what i'd like to achieve.

In the morning, I'd like to wake up, pick up the GPS and go out to the car.

Ideally it would have been charging over night on a cradle or with similar
ease, if not i'd like to plug it into the car's power. I basically don't
want to have to worry about batteries.

We'd then drive into London. We is me and my wife I should point out, not
me and my GPS - i'm not that big a geek ;-).

Upon arrival, I'd pick up the GPS and go into the office. In the office
my workstation laptop would spot the GPS (probably via bluetooth) and programmatically
I'd be able to connect and pull off a set of time+location datapoints
and also delete them from the device.

I could then do the processing I want to do.

Does this sound possible? if so any recommendations? I guess the only other
fact is the journey is about 10~12 miles and takes less than an hour.

Greg
