Which version of ArcGIS Server, the *rebadged* ArcSDE version or more more 
expensive ones?

We currently have ArcSDE 9.1 and will be moving to the equivalent in v9.2. 
   I'm not convinced that we need more than this level of functionality, 
given the wealth of alternatives.



wrt Ruby, I like Mark's suggestion of JRuby with ArcSDE and OSGeo Java 
APIs. Has anyone done any work in this type of environment?
