Opportunities are available to spend one or more semesters in residence
with the MIT Program on Environmental Governance and Sustainability
(PEGS). The program, housed at the Center for International Studies
(CIS), is a new initiative to conduct research and promote public
education on a broad range of environmental and sustainability issues.

Fellows are academics and mid to senior-level professionals who want to
conduct independent research or work on professional projects while
engaging in activities at PEGS, CIS, and MIT. MIT PEGS Fellows are
eligible to audit courses and participate in seminars at MIT. Successful
applicants are provided with desk/office space, internet and library
privileges. Please note that Fellows are charged $5,000 per academic
year/ $2,500 per semester.

To apply, send a letter containing an explanation of your interests,
description of proposed activities, and preferred length of time for
participating in the fellowship program; a resume or CV; and the name of
one reference who is qualified to comment on your qualifications,
accomplishments, and standing.

Application materials should be sent as email attachments to
