I'm teaching "Energy and Material Flows in the Environment and Society" next term at Carolina, and I seek any advice or syllabi from this group. Please send any suggestions for books, articles, or videos (esp. a course reader on Energy).

Here is the write up in the course bulletin: Energy and Material Flows in the Environment and Society (3). Examines the regional to global flow of materials and energy through materials extraction, processing, manufacturing, product use, recycling, and ultimate disposition, including its relevance in policy development. Reviews natural cycles in the environment, basic physics, and the technology of energy production.

I will happily share my results with the list.

Best,
