All, This conference (in London in March 2012) may be of interest to some. It's being organized by International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme, DIVERSITAS, International Human Dimensions Programme, World Climate Research Programme, and their Earth System Science Partnership. It seems rather more sincerely interdisciplinary and welcoming to both natural and social sciences and humanities than many such conferences.
