Hi Folks, The Annual Meeting is just around the corner and this is about the time that last minute withdrawals start coming in fast and furious (by the way, if you know you can't make it, please let us know sooner rather than later!). Thanks those of you who have volunteered for my backup list, I've been able to fill most of the program holes without plaguing the group with messages. At the moment, I only need to find one discussant for the panel: SB 26: Climate Diplomacy (see below for a short description). If you are interested, please let me know. Also, if you'd like to be on my "backup list" of individuals who are willing and able to serve as chair or discussant on panels at this late stage, send me a sentence or two on your expertise + the panels that you're already on and I'll add you.
Best, dgwebster SB 26: Climate Diplomacy International negotiations on climate change mitigation receive considerable attention in the popular press but few people get to experience climate diplomacy first hand. This panel covers the roles of activism, persuasion, leadership and trust in climate negotiations based on data collected from participants and through direct observation at COP meetings. These insider perspectives provide great insights into the heart of climate diplomacy. -- D.G.
