Dear all, Thank you so much for suggesting books that CIDE Region Centro will most certainly acquire. The directive from CIDE was that the library of our Region Centro campus in Aguascalientes (in central Mexico) should be THE political science/public policy/economics/history library of the entire central Mexico region. Thus we (faculty) have been told to put special emphasis in choosing books that can be useful not only for our own undergraduates and graduate students, but in general for policy makers, government folks, and other academics in Mexico. So, both CIDE and I thank you for your suggestions.
The compiled list is pasted below. Do note, however, that I added several books to my list (particularly public policy, research methods, etc.) and I also added a few books that were not in these lists, like Ron Mitchell's recent book on International Relations and the Environment, recent books by Klaus Dingwerth, Klaus Jacob, Frank Biermann and Pattberg. I also added the recent book by Henrik Selin, and a volume on NAFTA and the environment by Kevin Gallagher. Any additional suggestions are always welcome as we might get additional budget next year. Thanks again, Raul Suggested book list as per GEP-ED folks. Francesco Cavatorta (ed.)
