For the last four years I've inflicted the students in my environment-and-conflict course with a simulation. The simulation was developed in partnership with some of my Columbia colleagues who actually know something about pedagogy and we are now writing a paper summarizing what we've learned from the experience. The article will be of interest primarily to people involved in teaching interdisciplinary classes on environment (including natural resources and climate change) and security.
I don't know what the universe of journals is for such pieces. I know International Studies Perspectives publishes such articles, but where else would you suggest looking? Is there a clear hierarchy? Thanks as always Marc Levy Columbia U.
