Dear all,
We are pleased to announce the launch of climatemarkets.org
<http://climatemarkets.org>, a collaborative project of the Institute
for Policy Studies and the Heinrich Boell Foundation North America.
This website is offered as a platform for climate activists and
advocates interested in gaining a better understanding of the current
debates about the roles of public institutions and the private sector in
energy and climate-related finance, and their intersection.
The website includes:
* A glossary
<http://climatemarkets.org/a-glossary-of-climate-finance-terms> of
climate finance terms
* A six part course <http://climatemarkets.org/course> on private sector
climate finance
* Readings <http://climatemarkets.org/reader>on the private sector's
role in climate finance
* A "toolkit" <http://climatemarkets.org/topics>containing learning
modules and case studies on climate finance (first two completed, eight
additional modules in progress)
* An annotated web bibliography <http://climatemarkets.org/resources>
We encourage users to adapt these tools to suit their needs. Please feel
free to contact us if you would like to discuss this further
([email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> or [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>).
We'd also really appreciate you sharing the site with others who might
be interested, including on social media or by posting
theclimatemarkets.org <http://climatemarkets.org> on your organisation's
links page.
