Dear colleagues --

I'm writing to invite guest contributions to a blog on climate
geoengineering <http://dcgeoconsortium.org/blog/> that Wil Burns, Michael
Thompson, and I have established. The blog is part of the work of the
Washington
Geoengineering Consortium <http://dcgeoconsortium.org/>.

We are seeking to showcase a wide spectrum of views on geoengineering, and
to highlight useful and novel ways of thinking about geoengineering
technologies, law, and politics.

Simon Dalby has a new post on geopolitics and geoengineering that went live
today:
http://dcgeoconsortium.org/2014/04/07/simon-dalby-geopolitics-and-geoengineering/
.

New posts are planned for the next couple of weeks that look at
geoengineering in the IPCC report and the science and politics of air
capture technologies.

If you are interested in publishing on the blog, please contact Michael
Thompson ([email protected]) briefly outlining your idea.

Note that Wil and Michael have also produced a timeline of important
geoengineering
events<http://www.dipity.com/jiwlp/Climate-Geoengineering-Timeline/>that
should prove useful to those of you teaching in this area.

Sincerely,
Simon Nicholson
