Subject: Assistance in recruiting a good leader for RIA

Hi colleagues,

A special request if I may. Given your relationships with RIA and your
networks you are in good positions to recommend appropriate
researchers/practitioners who match up well against the profile of the
Deputy Executive Director (see attached advert) that we are looking to
recruit from January 2015.

We are looking for a professional who can both craft and implement a medium
to long term research strategy and give strategic guidance to and manage a
number of interfaces - science communication, policy action networks,
stakeholder engagement, impact assessment and HSRC Press. A challenging and
intellectually stimulating portfolio that works across all the Research
Programmes (6) and Centres/Institutes (CeSTII, BRICS Research Centre and
AISA) in the HSRC.

Your assistance will be appreciated, Temba
