The International Conference on Resilience, Research, and 
Innovation<http://www.rri.dj/conference.html> will be held in Djibouti from the 
26th to the 28th of October, 2015 and hosted by the Ministry of Higher 
Education and Research of Djibouti along with the FAO, UNICEF, WFP. The call 
for papers is available

The Conference is intended to address building resilience for populations in 
arid and semi-arid regions. It will bring together scientists, experts, 
practitioners, policymakers, and academics from food security and nutrition, 
agriculture and related sciences, conflict resolution, international 
development, and community resilience and vulnerability to address the issue of 
scientific research for building resilience. The main objective of the 
conference is to stimulate a wide debate on the scientific research on 
adaptation, transformation, and development of our societies, and to highlight 
the importance of building resilience as a crucial aspect of development.

The themes of the conference are as follows:

Applicants should submit 500-word abstracts or full posters in English or in
