Dear all,

I’ve been asked to lead a session of a small class (seminar) this fall on
“Small States in Global Affairs,” specifically targeted on Taiwan. I’ll be
teaching the class on global environmental and sustainability challenges. I’m
looking for 3-4 good readings for the session. They don’t have to focus on
Taiwan per se, but if one or two do, all the better. The premise of the course
is that the majority of states are “small states with limited capacities,” and
it aims to address their perspective in confronting and/or responding to global
challenges.

Any suggestions welcome and, as per our practice, please reply directly to me
and I will forward suggestions to the list. Readings focused on environmental
challenges, in general or specifically, as well as the SDGs would be welcome.

Thanks and best,

Steven
