Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce the recent publication of our entry on “Climate change
justice<https://www.rep.routledge.com/articles/thematic/climate-change-justice/v-1>”
in the Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy.

The entry provides a concise review of perspectives on climate change justice
in the English-language philosophical debates, including distributive,
corrective and intergenerational justice, along with reflections on new
directions. Its main purpose is to introduce students to the issues, but it
also identifies landmarks in the literature to help specialists reflect on
where the discussions are today and where they could go in the future. It also
includes an annotated bibliography to direct further reading. A distinctive
feature of the entry is the way it relates the development of the philosophical
literature to the course of the global negotiations over the last twenty-five
years.

Many university libraries have an online subscription to the Routledge
Encyclopedia of Philosophy. We hope that the entry will be useful for your
students or anyone looking to get an overview of these debates.

We wish to take this opportunity to thank Hugh Breakey, Dominic Roser and Ken
Shockley for their valuable comments and suggestions. We nevertheless remain
responsible for any weaknesses or omissions.

All the best,
