Under the scientific coordination of Prof. Bernard Hoekman (EUI) and Dr. Philip Schleifer (University of Amsterdam), participants will analyse the WTO's rules on product standards, the work of private standard-setting bodies such as the International Standardization Organization, as well as the highly dynamic field of voluntary sustainability standards (VSS).
