Hi all, Sorry for cross-postings. This tenure track position is in my home
department (school, actually). Note that the focus is on those at the
Associate or senior Assistant level rather than entry level. See below and in
attached.

Cheers,

Jeremy

Description
The School of Marine Science & Policy (SMSP) at the University of Delaware is
hiring a tenure-track faculty member in Public Policy for Fall 2020. We seek
candidates with a PhD in Public Policy, Political Science, Decision Science,
Economics, Law, or a related field.

We are interested in candidates at the Associate or senior Assistant level who

expected to be part of the candidate’s research portfolio. The person we hire
is expected to publish in scholarly journals, raise research funds, teach
courses in his/her field, engage in research with high policy relevance, and
contribute to the mission of the University.

SMSP offers graduate degrees in Marine Policy, Marine Biosciences,
Oceanography, and Physical Ocean Science & Engineering and an undergraduate
major in Marine Science. SMSP also has affiliation with the Water Science &
Policy Program at the University. SMSP has campuses in Newark and Lewes. Most
faculty members have joint appoints in other departments.

Review of applications will begin on December 3, 2019. Salary is competitive
and commensurate with qualifications. A start-up package will be provided.

Application Process
Applicants should submit a cover letter with a list of references, a curriculum
vitae, and separate research, teaching and diversity statements using the
University of Delaware online application system at http://www.udel.edu/udjobs.
The information submitted will be shared with program faculty. Inquiries
regarding this position may be addressed to Professor Parsons, SMSP
([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>).
