/smr --- *The University of Birmingham-Fulbright Distinguished Chair* We are one of a handful of UK universities to host a Fulbright Distinguished Chair, the most prestigious Fulbright award. The Fulbright Distinguished Chair is a generous six-month secondment that enables a prominent US professor to be based at the University of Birmingham. The timeline for applications is: Spring 2020: Competition opens 15th September 2020: Application deadline November 2020 – January 2021: Applications will be evaluated, short-listed candidates invited to interview Mid-January 2021: Telephone interviews will be conducted.
