Dear colleagues,

This opportunity may be of interest to anyone working on Small Island
Developing States, national ecosystems assessments in LDCs, or related
topics. Grenada is launching a National Ecosystem Assessment, organized
and managed by the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) in
cooperation with the Government of Grenada. They have assembled an
interesting and eclectic team of academics, practitioners, and local and
regional stakeholders but still are looking for additional lead authors for
several chapters. There is a particular need for social scientists. The
work is voluntary but promises to be interesting. I have worked on
various projects in Grenada over the years and have learned a lot and
developed some rewarding and lasting relationships. I will be a
Coordinating Lead Author for one of the chapters. Experience in the
Caribbean would be useful but is not necessary. The organizers would
prefer authors with relevant terminal degrees but anyone with a record of
related research and publications would be considered.

If you are interested or know anyone who might be, please contact me. I
will do my best to answer any questions and/or make the introductions to
the project director at CANARI who will be able to give you more details.

Stay healthy, safe, and optimistic (not easy, I know)!

Best wishes,
Jonathan
