In spite of this evidence, important discussions taking place about climate change—such as how it is experienced, which policy solutions are most critical, and how we can prepare for and adapt to its impacts—often leave out the voices of the very communities most affected. A new report from the Sustainable Solutions Lab starts to address this gap. The report was authored by Assistant Professor Lorena Estrada-Martínez, Professor Paul Watanabe, and Doctoral Student, Katsyris Rivera-Kientz. It was written in partnership with the Hyams Foundation and made possible in part through funding from the Barr Foundation.
