Dear colleagues,

In our interdisciplinary research project on forest policy in Fennos Scandinavia (GreenPole <https://www.nordforsk.org/projects/green-forests-policies-comparative-assessment-outcomes-and-trade-offs-across-fenno>), we are calling for applications for a 4-year doctoral position at the Political Science Department in Lund.

The project will follow an integrated policy assessment model approach and bring together environmental science, ecology, forest economics, and political science.

Partners in the project are Marianne Thomsen (Aarhus University), Dalia D'Amanto (Helsinki University), Wilhelm May (Lund University), and myself.

The focus of the doctoral project is agent-based modeling of forest owners and users and their reaction to forest policies of the last 20 years. However, the department grants a great deal of freedom in the precise design and resources for (method) training and mobility are available.

Feel free to forward to interested candidates and please get in touch if you have any questions.

Nils
