Dear GEP-ED colleagues, The EARTH SYSTEM GOVERNANCE journal has published a new special issue, “Exploring Planetary Justice.” Justice is a core dimension of any effort to analyze the political responses to the rapid transformation of our planetary systems. This special issue is a first collection of studies to offer systematic and detailed conceptualizations of “planetary justice,” and to place the important justice discourse in the broader debate on planetary stewardship, earth system transformation and earth system governance. We hope to initiate with this Special Issue a broader debate on planetary justice in our communities. All articles are fully open access and can be downloaded for free at all times.
