<< Its really not that difficult to understand Kristen. You have put those of
us on the GML who care about our members and the pets through hell. You kill
a bunch of gerbils and then plead innocence due to the fact that you are
only 15 and have ADD. Many, many people on the GML offer to help, myself
included. You constantly post that you have to "get rid" of your gerbils and
then you usually follow up that message with another posting begging people
to ship you gerbils. Not even you could weasel out of that inconsistency.

I didn't kill my gerbils... they passed on because of a mistake i made, i did
not purposly kill them, thats very rude of you to acuss me of something that
you have no idea what really happened! As of an adult I would think you could
be a little more mature then that!

Next you adopt a new persona with a new e-mail address to try and trick
people into selling you gerbils. When that didn't work you confessed and
begged the list to forgive you, after all you are only 15.

I did this to see if someone was lieing to me, why lie to me.. i can handle
the truth..and i don't blame my age for everything, i only blammed it once..
because i couldn't do anything about my gerbils dieing.. my grandmother
wouldn't pay to take them to the vet.. and therefore that is the reason i
blamed my age!

Next you are quiet for a time, and the few posts you do make actually are
aimed at helping others. Everyone thought you finally got your act together
and breathed a huge sigh of relief. But, it was too good to be true. You
recently post that you have to "get rid" of all your gerbils because your
grandmother can't stand the smell. Those of us that own more than a few
gerbils inwardly cringed, but we offered to help. There were great posts
about how to keep your cages clean and how to reduce odor. You did not
 respond to any of them.

Yes, I did read... but by then it was to late.. i had to many gerbils
inclosed in my room... and not enough money to buy the correct bedding for
each and everyone of them, so sometimes i had to get bedding that wasn't
really good for them... which my grandma agreed with me, that i should find
most of them homes... but she told me.. i could only have 1 pair...

Then you post that you found a home for all your gerbils except one breeding
pair. Bill and I wrote to you and requested that perhaps you could be mature
enough to write a letter to other young members of the list that may have the
same tough choices you did. We thought that maybe at the very least your
experiences could save another new gerbil owner from the same problems. You
did not reply to those posts either.

What would i write to them, by the sounds of it coming from you, you sound
like i have no experince at all... and all i do is kill my gerbils.... but
you expect my to write about how i'm a gerbil killer and not a good
breeder... what would i post?

hen you post that you have talked to your grandmother and she agreed to once
again let you have gerbils if you could pay for them. So, you are excited
because you will soon be 16 and able to get a job. Again, the wonderful
members of the list jumped in to help you and to suggest that maybe this time
you should start out slow and just have pet pairs. And, you should remember
that a gerbil's life span is 3-4 years and that when you are 19 or 20 you may
not still be in a position to care for gerbils. Yet again you blatantly
 ignored the suggestions.

Just because i don't reply doesn't mean i'm not listing....

Lastly, you post to the list that you are "so excited". You are going to get
two rats. My first question has to be: What happened to the last rats you
had? I shudder to think about your answer, but then again, there probably
 won't be one.

My last two rats i owned in 1996, i had to give them to a friend because i
was moving... unfortunatly.. i loved them dearly... but i would rather give
them to a friend then a pet shop, to be fed to snakes!

The people on the list that did have the patience to respond
to you asked questions that you should certainly consider before going out
and getting new pets. Did you know that rats smell more than gerbils? Just
as a matter of course, rats are larger and will produce more urine and feces
than gerbils. If you couldn't keep a gerbil tank clean enough, how will you
maintain a rat cage? Also, you complained about a lack of funds to care for
the gerbils. Once again, rats are larger and therefore require larger
housing and more food. Therefore rats are intrinsically more expensive.

But I will only be having two, i shouldn't have a problem with cleaning...
feeding e.t.c... it was the fact that i was caring for over 60 gerbils every
two weeks.... around 30 that were mine!

So, dear Kristen, there is your explanation of why you are a troll. I don't
harbor much hope that you will take the time to read this, and even if you do
you will post and apology to the list that means absolutely nothing. Please,
stop wasting the list's time. The good people on the list that have the time
and resources to offer help should direct their efforts to someone who
 deserves it.
Pamela (thoroughly fed up with you and your antics)

P.S. Alicia - you are quite active in the Rat Fancy. I strongly suggest
that you warn as many rat breeders as possible and the society as whole to be
 on the lookout for Kristen.

Don't have to worry, i'm getting them from a friend.. and i will not be
breeding, they are my pets!
