"The New Hacker's Dictionary" defines (poorly, as usual) a "troll" like
this:

    troll v.,n. To utter a posting on Usenet designed to attract stupid

Usually the effect of such troll postings is an enormous rise in list
traffic.

Honestly: You ship out a non breeding pair of gerbils for the following
reasons: odor, money problems, your grandmother, (perhaps lack of time).
You aquire a pair of rats which are smellier, more expensive to keep and
need a lot more attention than a pair of gerbils. I don't get it.

So I think this is a hopeless case and all further discussion is useless
because it will simply enrage a considerable number of list members.
There is no need to answer to this email. If anybody feels he/she has
to, please do it via private email.
