Hello all,
I know that gerbils are hardy desert animals and that the temperatures in
the deserts can get very cold. Would gerbils be ok in a basement? I ask
because a young lady would like to adopt a couple of my gerbs and her father
will only let her get them as long as they stay in the basement. They say
their basement stays around 60 degrees or so in the winter.
I thought that they would be ok, provided they give them extra bedding in
the winter time. I just wanted to double check and get everyones
opinion/advice on it.
