Once I cleaned the tank (a 40 gal divided in the middle by glass) and left
the lid off while I was cleaning their food and water bowls in the kitchen.
Well, Cesar decided to visit his brother on the other side. Needless to say
they were a mess. Countless bites all over their little bodies. I felt so
bad and guilty and was afraid for a while Cesar would not pull through. He
even got attacked by his mate Luna when I tried to place him back (even
after I washed him and her). So I put them immdedietly in a split cage, to
give him the peace he needed to recover but for them not to loose the smell
of each other. Luckily it all worked out.
