Is this normal?

Hi Folks,
  Last night I witnessed something I have never seen before.  Ok, before I
tell you all, Juan is not sick.  OK, last night, I found Juan sleeping on
his back/side right next to Aveda.  He is not dead.  Did this ever happen to
anyone out there before?
