I used the word "would". You keep going back to material things a whilst
I am trying to show that "value" does not depend on material things. A
child with no money and restrictive parents may value a gerbil more
highly than a person who paid a $100 for a rare colour.

I have told you I understand that. But I am trying to make the point
that it is more important to make sure that your gerbils go to people
who will value them rather than raising the price so they will go to
people who value the money they have spent! I am speaking from extensive
experience of people in action.

I suggest we end here as we are probably boring everyone else rigid.
