Hello. Viola and Ophelia are *not* good gerbils! I keep them in an aquarium with a
water bottle
stuck to the side with a soft rubber sucker. They've taken to jumping on top of the
water bottle,
knocking it down and shredding/eating the sucker! I supose it must be like chewing
gum...
They have done this three times now, and it's rapidly driving me crazy. I've tried
sticking the
sucker with masking tape (didn't work). Somewhere I read you should use 'Bitter
Apple' on
a gerbils tail that was being chewed by a cage mate. What is bitter apple, or could
someone
sugest a solution?
