Kathryn,
I think my gerbils are working out this trick too!
If I remember, I think the suckers can be toxic to rodents. At least, that
was what a pet shop told me when I suggested a wheel with a sucker for my
last hamster in a tank. Please correct me if I am wrong!
I don't know whether this will work for you, as you have an aquarium, but
mine live in the tank, and the bottle has a piece of plastic on top, which
the wire can pass through and you hook it over the side of the tank and it
hangs down!
However, it drives you mad at night when they bump into it!
Andreana, Murray, Seth, Theo, Taylie, Cairina and my three rescue gerbils!
Info on them coming soon!
