I just wanted to give my update for this week, I think I updated twice last
week..opps.. if I did.. Well, like I said I can tell the color of my little
ones, four siamese, and one little burmese boy, I havn't sexed the others yet.
They were born on the fifth of this month, so they are only eight days old,
they sure don't seem it.. I already have a couple homes lined up for them, i
think =) I might be able to talk my grandma into keeping the burmese male, i
have been wanting to keep a burmese for a while, and i can keep him with
mommy and daddy.. that should work out ok, but i'm a little afraid, since i
have been hearing alot of domance problems, mainly with Steven, but i have
never had this problem before, and like i posted in the death annocenment
before, Girl and her daughter lived with her for two-three years, and never
once had a problem! Well, if anyone might be intrested in adopting a dark
tailed white male from the last litter or any siamese from the litter born on
the fifth let me know, and i can reserve.. Thats my update on the clan!

I also wanted to mention in the same e-mail an update on rescuing gerbils!

**I want to continue breeding this one pair, because i have also enjoyed the
young ones, as well as the adults, and finding homes for them isn't really
that big of a problem, i have friends and some family, and people on the
internet that often ask for gerbils.

**I would like to invest in getting a larger area for more cages and supplies
for rescuing gerbils, what i would like to do, is take the money that i'm
going to safe for the building out door, so i could pruchuse more gerbils,
and make it a rescue home for mis treated and homeless gerbils.

** I'd like to be able to spoil them and give them the care they need, while
also looking for homes for some of the younger ones, the older ones will
continue to stay at my, "unnamed" rescue home, it would be to stressfull for
the older ones to go to a new home or even travel, but the younger ones need
to get out and find new people and enjoy there short wonderful lifes!

**This is going to take some time, to build and get the money needed, in
three and a half months, i will be at the age to where i can get a job and be
able to drive to work, and i can invest in some money.. donations are
welcome, not only as in money, but supplies,food,toys.. e.t.c.. i will not
except any donations untill i have the place up and running.. because who
knows, this could turn out not be a for sure thing, but i'm hoping for sucess!

**I will also have members of the "unnamed" rescue home.. the way this will
work is, you join and pay a year fee, you adopt a gerbil, but do not take it
home.. kind of like "adopt a wild mustang" the mustang stays at another
place, you just donate your year fee, and you get pictures, updates, e.t.c..
this will be fun and intresting! I have never heard of something like this,
how do you like the idea?

**I don't expect things to get started untill this coming June, that way i
can have the money to give these animals proper care and homes!

**I will have forms to fill out... this is how this will work, if you have a
gerbil that has no home, and you'd like it to live with us, you simply fill
out a form with basic information including information like "why can't you
any longer keep this animal" "How many other gerbils do you own" "how old is
the gerbil" including medical problems, e.t.c questions like this, and then i
will determin if the gerbil needs to be brought to us or not. If you are
adopting a gerbil from us, as in taking it and giving it a home, i will have
a form to fill out, asking basic questions and reasons why you want to take
this animal in, what kind of person you are, how many other animals do you
own, have you ever owned gerbils and so on.

That is all for now. If anyone can think of a proper name for my rescue
center, feel free to e-mail me, suggestinos are welcome just e-mail them to
me at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thank you everyone for your support!
