I was going to ask if she seemed to be pregnant, I guess
this answers my question!  I'm not sure what to tell you
though as I have rarely been home and awake while my "mamma"
gerbil was giving birth.  The few times I was she just went
into the ball they had their nest in and I never would have
known what was going on except for the squeaking!  :)
Sherlock did get ahead of things once and try to mate with
her before she was done, I guess he got confused.  She set
him straight very quickly.

Oh, I remember females usually build HUGE nests right before
giving birth, has she done that?
