Gerbil in Labor?

Jasmine is HUGE (she seems to have "huge-ified" over the last couple of days
from a "spare tire" appearance to the look of an adult bullfrog).  She can
barely move (slowly) and seems to be shivering.  Winter is trying to mount
her.  Does this sound like early labor?  I see no "bloody show" where she
has been sitting.  Should I boil some water and get some old towels ;) ?
